pictures

The walls leading upstairs are filled with framed pictures I have put up of family, especially of my late hubby. Dating pictures, wedding, vacations, him with then the babies and just day by day stuff we used to do but were caught on that 'kodak moment'. It felt just like yesterday it all happened, but at the same time an eternity away.

Salam perkenalan.

I gather from your blog that we were both born in 1972, we have two kids each and we are both widows.

This is my first time here and will be visiting again soon.

Take care, sis.

Dear Mz. Heart,
Thank you for stopping by. Yes, we are very much alike.
Out of curiosity, how did you come by my blog? Are we listed anywhere? Still very ignorant about it all...
Your blog looks very professional. Will have to learn a trick or two off yours.
You take care too.

This was how I found your blog:

Sometimes I click on my sitemeter referrals just to see who goes in to read my blog. Clicking on a certain referral brought me to a google search page for lilinbiru. Now, I know lilinbiru as I've been to her blog and she's been to mine.

Then I went to another blog which lilinbiru had left her comment on, and it was melancholy phlegmatic's as life goes on... That's where I found your blog, which melancholy phlegmatic had linked.

Panjang cerita, eh... ;)

I'm new at blogging as well... looks professional? ye ke? heheh...

Hope you are doing ok. Though we may be strangers, I feel a certain connection there...

Do visit another sis at http://pausetoreflect.blogspot.com

Thanks for dropping by Mz Heart.
I am glad that you enjoy reading my blogs. They are little pockets of memories that I guess, itching to let out. Kids are still a bit too young to understand their Umi's rambling wooes.
I log onto your blogs often too. Sometimes more than once a day. (Check waktu solat....)
You have beautiful girls there. Our stability in raising them will, insya"Allah set a firm foundation for their own future. We have got to be strong! (no choice)....
;)

ohoooo... padanla I tersedak-sedak, myheartbleeds sebut yea?! Gosh, are we ALL the same age then?? but how come you guys have 2children only eh, when I have 4? (okay, so I cheated by having twins bt still..).

On a different note, the thing we all share in common is something to share and learn about from one another. Sometimes we cry, sometimes we need that little push to spring back to life. Regardless what, Allah is helping us through this circle - that's what I truly believe!

yes, we're all the same age!!! d, you have 4 kids and I'm envious tau... can I selit a 'lil story here? In Jan last year, about a month before my hubby passed, we were having a conversation about having another child since my IUD was due to be taken out then. I really wanted to have another and coaxed him to agree to it. You know what he said? "Macamana nak ada anak lagi, I nak mati muda, nanti siapa nak tolong you jaga anak..."

Who knew, but Allah...

baby talk! I'm getting broody already. Our 2nd child was the best unplanned surprise and blessing ever. I was 6 months pregnant when he was diagnosed with cancer. She was born 2 months into his chemotherapy. She never knew him as a healthy daddy. But the two of them were inseparable!
